Hello! I’m Heather, a dedicated mental health therapist based in vibrant Hong Kong.re,

With a deep passion for enhancing psychological well-being, I embrace a client-centred approach that blends innovative methods to support diverse needs.

For the past few years, I’ve served as an in-house psychotherapist at a renowned NGO focused on human rights, where I provide crucial support to asylum seekers, refugees, and survivors of trauma. I specialize in guiding individuals through the complexities of anxiety and depression, helping them reclaim their strength and resilience.

As a Namibian-South African educator, I understand the unique stressors faced by minorities, giving me valuable insights into the cultural challenges many encounter. I prioritize effective communication in my practice, collaborating with translators to bridge any gaps.

In addition to therapy, I’m a registered teacher in Hong Kong, where I’ve pursued specialized training in ADHD, ASD, and SPLD through the Education University of Hong Kong. This dual role enhances my ability to support individuals both in and out of the classroom.

To help you determine if we are a good fit, I offer a complimentary 30-minute chemistry meeting. Please note that this meeting is not a counseling session but an opportunity for us to connect and discuss the possibility of working together. If you would like to schedule a chemistry meeting and explore the potential for counseling, kindly click here.

I look forward to the opportunity to meet you!
