My name is Craig.  I am an International ‘nomad’, born in South Africa, and have worked across 3 continents.  I am an English and Drama teacher working in a local school and have worked across primary and secondary schools here in Hong Kong, Thailand, UAE and Netherlands.

I started developing my therapeutic skills  as a care home manager working with young adults with learning difficulties, in the UK for 6 years.

Later, working as a special needs teacher has brought me a lot of awareness of young people who experience difficulties at school and in their daily lives.

I hold both a Masters in Special Education and a Masters in Counselling (HKU).  I work with clients across the age range.  I incorporate a person centred approach, with motivational interviewing and positive psychology as key components.  In other words, ‘I walk with you on your journey, and through listening to you, we work together towards that place within yourself, where you want to be’.   If you’re feeling stuck, lost, questioning the way forward, or have deeper concerns causing you to experience anxiety, depression, or feelings of hopelessness, I am open to listening and working with you.

I offer a 30-minute free chemistry meeting. Please note that a chemistry meeting is not a counselling meeting; it is to help you decide whether you can work with me. If you would like to meet me for a chemistry meeting and to talk about the possibility of counselling, please click here.
